Hello! My name is Amanda Lee and I have been an SI for BIOL 1500 for six semesters. I am a Neuroscience major with hopes of becoming a professor and having my own lab one day. I became an SIL because I have always loved teaching and it has helped me solidify my knowledge and look at the subject in new ways. I am on the E-board for Florida on Film and love taking film photos. I also love spending time outdoors.
My name is Rucha Bhat and I am an SI for BIOL 1500. I am a sophomore majoring in Public Health on the pre-med track. I became an SI Leader because I love to help people understand difficult topics and I really enjoy taking leadership roles in my community. I also benefitted from SI and would like to help others in the same way. Outside of SI, I am also a Peer Leader for UNIV, and I am on the eboard for Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students. I am also a part of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Two fun facts about myself are that I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and I am a two-time Junior Olympian in Waterpolo.
My name is Laysa Eboli. I am originally from Hackensack New Jersey, but have also lived in New York, Brazil and Florida for the past few years. My major is Public Health and I am in the dual admission program for PA, as well as in Global Razors. A fun fact about me is that I never run out of things to say. I chose SI because I have always wanted to be able to help others the connections I have been able to make, I have a helping nature at heart, so I could never pass up this opportunity. Hi! I'm Alessandra Coke, and I am a SI leader for biology. I am a junior biology & medical humanities major with chemistry, psychology and honors minors, and I'm in D.O/B.A program. I chose SI because I found it so helpful for my first year here at NSU that I wanted to pay it forward by becoming an SI myself :). I'm the IOC chair for SAGE, and I'm apart of GSA Sharks, HOSA and a few more :).

Hello! My name is Srujan, I am the SI leader for Dr. De's Anatomy and Physiology I class. I am a pre-med biology major. I chose SI because I wanted to give back after getting the help that I got from my SI leader, meet new people, and get to know my professor more. I am a part of the Bhangra team. Some fun facts about me are that I like dogs, and hot dogs (food is my true love).
My name is Tess Friedman, and I am currently the SI leader for Anatomy and Physiology I. I am a pre-nursing major from Charleston, South Carolina. I chose SI because it was a useful tool to me when I took this course. I love being an SI leader because I facilitate learning and make this course a positive experience for the students! I am currently involved in Chabad and Hillel on campus. I am the Vice President of the Karaoke Club. One fun fact about me is that I have my motorcycle license, and I did a 1700-mile motorcycle trip through Chile and Argentina!
Hi everyone! My name is Colin Pulickathadam and I am the SI Leader for Dr. De's Anatomy & Physiology II (BIOL 3330) class. I am part of the Dual D.O. program, double majoring in health informatics and biology, and double minoring in research studies and honors transdisciplinary studies, through the Razor's Edge Research Scholars program and Farquhar Honors College, respectively. I chose to be an SI Leader because I wanted to help students with this difficult course, empower them with resources and tips to achieve success, and strengthen my own knowledge base in this subject. On campus, I am also a member of President's 64, an executive board member for Razor's Edge Research, an Honors Advocate for the Honors College, President of the Health Informatics Club, and Secretary of Pre-SOMA. A fun fact about me is that I was born in Boston!
My name is Eliana Gitelman, and I am a Junior at NSU. I am a Human Nutrition major, minoring in Biology, Pre-Health, and Public Health. I am currently in the dual degree PA program and am the SI this semester for Anatomy and Physiology 2. I chose SI because when I was taking this difficult course, I learned many tips and tricks that helped me succeed that I hope to share with others and help them succeed. Some clubs I am a part of is Hillel, PHJS, Women in Surgery, Sharks for Israel, and Manual Dexterity. A fun fact about me is that Russian was my first language, and I was a competitive ballroom dancer for 10 years.
